"YEOGI"! Cheongsapo (Haeundae) @ Busan

"Let the stillness of this ethereal landscape wash over your soul and awaken the dormant tranquility within."

Cheongsapo Village
Cheongsapo is another small, quiet village here in Haeundae that welcome people to visit especially you have the taste for the rustic old days feel.
The nature feels of the village, the unblocked view of the sea and the delicious looking cotton candy clouds makes a perfect combination of what a seaside village should look like.
The waves of the sea, the breeze of the wind and the glimmer of the sunray further enhance the peaceful setting of this village.

Fishing boats hugging closely together, and there is many fishing nets are within sights because there are real fishermen staying in this village.
This little fishing village is not only famous for the sights, but also for the hungry stomachs - restaurants specializing in grilled clams and eels too. Beside seafood restaurants, there are cafes and other style of restaurants that suitable for everyone.

We start our day from Songjeong area which is at the extreme east of Haeundae Beach. We also spent some memorable times here too.

The Gama
A very popular traditional teahouse that is hidden in the residential area of Songjeong.
Our Korean oppa brought us here after a hearty Crab meal in Gijang where you can find more information in "YEOGI"! Haedong Yonggungsa Temple @ Busan,.

We were greeted by the cat upon the entry to the teahouse.

Oppa said this traditional teahouse is well like by local because all tea were brewed with careful efforts.

The teahouse is in "Nojin Hanbok" style that has been passed down for three generations.
The layout of the place is very Zen feel, we came at about 8pm so there is not many people.
The price is quite pricey but worthed the visit as this teahouse comes with a "healing effect"

It’s always a bonus when a place has unique details, like the various types of teacups and teapots to explore some of the collections were from 3rd BC! .

Little touches like that can really make a visit memorable. Museum of teapots!

My MR ordered the DaHongPao which he always like.
We even went to Mt Wuyi in Fujian China before to grace the UNESCO World Heritage of the 300 years old DaHongPao plant from the cliff. This link can bring you to the blog of Fujian @ XiaMen China for your better undertanding.
The tea's flavor is a combination of smoky and smooth, research result shows that it has the effect of suppressing insulin levels and reduce body fats.
The cost of per brew is SGD14.

Me & Oppa ordered Gaeseongsan wild tea whose tea leaves were collected during the fall of 2017. The tree is more than 600 years old and grow at the altitude of over 2500m in the DaXue mountains of Menggu area in the northwest of Yunnan China. The tree was grown in a blessed natural condition that has endured countless years of cultivation and contains the vitality and nutrients of the original nature therefore it has a superb, fruity, fragrance and savory taste which is sweet and refreshing too.
It worthed the price of SGD26 per brew.

Songjeong Sushi 송정스시
We happened to pass by this restaurant while walking around Songjeong area.
The sea urchin on the menu was calling for me and we decide to have a light lunch here.

We ordered salmon sashimi and prawn tempura together with my sea urchins.

Japanese restaurants in Korea serve side dishes too.

The prawns are hot and tasted good.

Salmon sashimi was in good orange color, tasted tight and fresh.

Per order or sea urchin at SGD40, which is considered cheap for the serving. The chef even came over our table to teach us the correct way of eating. But he could not speak English, using the international hand signs, we made out what he meant and happily enjoying our food.

Hmmm, we are very surprised to taste such a good Japanese cuisine here in Busan.

Suwol Gyeonghwa
Suwol Gyeonghwa means 水月镜花 in chinese, I felt it is so "poetic". This teahouse is located in Songjeong area, the eastern side of Haeundae Beach.

The name "Suwol Gyeonghwa" translates to "moon in the water, flower in the mirror," referring to things that can be seen but not felt

Located level 4 of the building, we were strongly welcomed by such beautiful and calming entry that the owner spent extra efforts on.

The main color of the interior is beige and white which spice up the peace feeling that we received.

It's known for its delicate Korean desserts and splendid views of Songjeong Beach.

We are lucky to have this last table by the window for us, located in the corner.
The view is splendid, right infront of us in the Blueline train track and the blue sea with peoples are wave surfing, there is also a pavilion in a distance.

The cafe offers a serene atmosphere with glass panels that allow you to see the railway tracks running alongside the coast.

Aside from the Black Moon Hoji tea, we also ordered the Dalborde box (traditional cake set).

This Dalborde was not only pleasing to the eye, it taste good too, this is the first time we are trying the traditional cakes and we like it very much.
Dalborde means sweet and soft in old Korean language, this set consists of 1 Financier, 2 Monakas & 2 Rice cakes.

It's a perfect spot to relax, enjoy some traditional snacks, and take in the beautiful coastal scenery.

Right after exiting from Suwol Gyeonghwa we start to make our way from here Songjeong to Cheongsapo, yes - the whole journey will be on foot.

We start to walk along the Songjeong beach where there were surfers gathered to wait for the big waves, anglers patiently waiting for big movements from their nets / rods and more.

The coastal walk came to a cliff where we have to switch to Busan Green Railway path which is known as a boardwalk path along the old railroad tracks from Songjeong to Haeundae (to and fro).

We were resting and chatting under some shades, and we noticed there is a head peeping at us.

This walkway is very popular among the people as it offers stunning coastal views, and the path will lead people to various attraction along the way.

Finally, BusanX is in our view which means we are reaching our destination soon.

Cheongsapo Daritdol Observatory
Wow! What a stunning elevated walkway that is located along Haeundae Beach that overlook the panoramic view of Songjeong & Cheongsapo coastlines.

This unique curvy observatory, opened in August 2017, stands at the height of 20 meters above the sea via transparent glass walkway and is 72.5 meters long.
Love the unique feature of the transparent glass floor that allows visitors to see the ocean directly beneath their feet! The blue colored structure looks totally like a part of the ocean.

The rule to enter this observatory is - you must wear shoes covers that is provided by the staff, we skipped that as we were too lazy to make such effort, so we took some photos from the entrance.

Cheongsapo Twin Lighthouses
AKA "husband & wife" lighthouses which were constructed in 2004 in Cheongsapo Village, which means they are considered modern landmarks here.

These red and white lighthouses is the iconic symbols of Cheongsapo area, attracting many visitors for the picturesque view and charming atmosphere.

I always love the view of lighthouses which gave directions to ships in the dark sea, ensuring a safety voyages. It feels so peaceful seeing them standing tall for years by years.

Cafe Sandy Blue
Located in the heart of the town that is impossible to miss.
There is also some seating area in the rooftop that overlooking the ocean and the twin lighthouses, however we are too tired to climb the stairs and were happily to choose a cozy table at the ground floor that is overlooking the twin lighthouses.

There are few pastries selection to choose from, but we prefer to save some spaces for seafood meal later.

We are here for a coffee break, though the bingsu is very famous here, we choose to fix our caffeine addiction.

Suminine Grilled Clams Restaurant
The most popular restaurant here is Cheongsapo that is an expert for grilled clams. It is also well visited by local celebrities as what the signature board located at the entrance had said.

This big restaurant boasted 3 different seating areas: tents at the ground floor, indoor air-conditioned area and outdoor terrace area under the pine trees, facing the sea and the twin lighthouses.

We are here to "try" the food here, so we did not order much, we ordered the signature assorted clams set with prawns which cost about SGD62.

Indeed, they tasted fresh and sweet.

Eels is also another popular dish here too.

Love the sight that this clam slowly opened up as it cooked.

Haewol Observatory
Located along the Green Rail Pathway, it is a horseshoe shape that is similar like Daritol Observatory.
The only difference is that you no need to wear shoe covers to step into the observation deck.

Here, aside from the magnificent sea view and we also got the magical sunset view of Busan.
